Hysteroscopy with septostomy

Hysteroscopy refers to visual exploration of the uterine cavity with a special camera inserted through the vagina. Uterine septum is a defect in development caused by defective fusion of the 2 uterine cornua that may cause recurrent early miscarriages. The septum can be adequately resected, which enhances the chances of successful pregnancy.

We offer in office hysteroscopy and septostomy if necessary. Other intrauterine defects (e.g. polyps) may be addressed effectively during the same encounter, integrating in a single visit both the diagnostic and the management tools.
