Endometrial biopsy

Endometrial biopsy refers to a small procedure through which a sample of tissue is collected to rule out a malignancy transformation of the uterus. Many abnormal bleeding situations require endometrial sampling before a definitive approach plan can be made. In more suspicious cases or when endometrial biopsy is impossible due to patient discomfort, a fractionate D&C under anesthesia may be indicated.

We offer in office endometrial biopsy integrated in a larger diagnostic approach designed to minimize your visit numbers but also your discomfort. The results are available within 2 weeks and further recommendations can be made for your care.
